Hacienda resort information
Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort is another Polaris World Golf Resort located in a lovely setting nestled in the foothills of the Carascoy Mountains - Murcia. It is an apartment only resort . It is currently being released and apartments are being handed over - constructed in a beautiful setting of some 1.353.000 square metres - in all 1,864 apartments have been constructed.
The golf course is already up and running. This is a fabulous course - par 72 and a real test of golf. In addition to the golf course the driving range is now open and alongside is a pro's shop, cafe/bar and small supermarket. Numerous play areas are dotted around the resort and the new sports facilities are currently under construction. There are many communal pools in place - the sports centre will have two more and will offer tennis, paddle tennis and training pitch.
The centre of the resort will eventually be housed in the old Hacienda building - this is an ambitious task and will involve the extention and restoration of this site to eventually house a new clubhouse and towncentre area. Work on this has just recently started.
In the meantime the shuttle service to the other resorts is already running and the resort next door - Peraleja Golf Resort - already has facilities in place and a commercial area due to open later this year.
